The Kingsley School is a center-based special education preschool established in 1991. We serve children from three to five years of age, who have or are suspected of having special needs. The children have to reside in Brooklyn and the Brooklyn/Queens border. Our multi-disciplinary team of professionals aims to meet children's individual needs in a warm, nurturing, structured environment where they can develop physically, emotionally, and intellectually. The Kingsley School team views parents as primary educators, models, and advocates for their children. We are committed to strengthening each parent's ability to carry out these roles by providing him or her with the necessary resources, information, guidance, and supports.
